The plot was well-devised, there was no overly cheesy dramatisation. It's actually a more than acceptable story for an older child or young teenager to read. What I was more surprised over, was how well done the story was. I could have easily read them all two dozen times between age 7-12, and I was surprised at how much of Pool Party Panic I remembered.
